The Instruction Department coordinates the scheduling of library instruction sessions and the development of resources for students, staff, and faculty, that promote finding, using, and evaluating information.
These interactive tutorials and handouts have been designed to teach search strategies and how to use library resources more effectively.
Faculty are invited to request library instruction seminars designed to acquaint students with research strategies and resources in specialized academic areas. Please contact your subject liaison or Leslie Madden, Library Instruction Coordinator, if you would like assistance in creating a library research assignment for your class.
Requests should be made at least two weeks prior to desired date and will be filled as library staffing permits. Faculty will receive confirmation by phone and/or e-mail and are asked to accompany their classes to the seminars.
