Group Study Rooms

The University Library provides group study rooms to currently enrolled Georgia State University students, faculty and staff. The primary purpose of these rooms is to provide a place for students to engage in collaborative and cooperative study in small groups. You can reserve a room in 30 minute increments for a maximum 3 hours per day.  Please review the Group Study Room Policy .

How to Reserve Group Study Rooms (Text directions)

 1.    Go to www.library.gsu.edu/roomres 

 2.     Log onto the system using your campus ID and password.  If  you do not know your campus ID and password,   
        go to:
http://www.library.gsu.edu/passwords/

3.     Select Make a Reservation under Quick Links.

4.     Select the month and the day for the study room you want to reserve.

5.    Click on "view" to see a photo of that room.

6.    Double-click on the timeslot for the study room. This will take you to a new screen where you select the time range. The specifications of the room you are reserving will appear in the dialogue box.

7.   Select Save and the reservation is made.

8.  You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your reservation.

Note: To see availability of Ethernet ports, seating, etc., go back to the Control Panel.                                                                     

Rooms not requiring a reservation (Walk-In Rooms)

- Rooms on the 2nd floor link are available on a first-come, first-served basis

- Room numbers are: L201, L202, L203, L204, L205, L206
