Terms and Conditions of Use for Electronic Resources
Use of many of these resources is governed by license agreements which restrict use to the GSU community and to individuals who use the GSU Libraries' facilities. Each user is responsible for limiting use to individual, noncommercial purposes, without systematically downloading or distributing substantial portions of information. The use of software such as scripts, agents or robots, is generally prohibited and may result in the loss of access to these resources for the entire GSU community.

How do I find my Library ID

The Library ID is a 7 character code beginning with the letters E, S, or O (example: S001234).

The Library ID is usually used in combination with your last name. There is no associated password.

New students and faculty can find the Library ID on their Panther card.

Returning students and current university personnel can locate their Library ID online at the Panther # Lookup page.

How do I find my CampusID and Password

Students: Use the same ID and password that you use in the campus computer labs, campus email, or campus network.

Students: If your password does not work, the easiest way to change it is to login to your
student email and click on the Options icon. You will see a dialog that will allow you to change your password. Once you change your password you should be able to login to library databases.

Faculty/Staff: Use the same ID and password used to access
Easyview.
- Faculty/Staff: If your password does not work, go to the Easyview site and follow the links to reset your password.
- If you hold dual status (eg. student/staff or graduate assistant with a stipend) please contact the IS&T help desk to resolve any password or login issues.

How do I find the GALILEO Password
- The GALILEO password changes every semester.
- Get the password in uLearn (formerly WebCT)
- Go to uLearn. Log on with your Campus ID
- Look under the "Campus Bookmarks" column on the right.
- You will see the "GALILEO password:" info which is also a link to GALILEO.
- Or get the password from your account in the Library Catalog GIL with your Library ID.
- If you do not know your Library ID please review the first section of this page.
- Go to https://gil.gsu.edu
- Click "Get GALILEO Password."
- Fill out the form: type in your Library ID and your last name.
- Click the "Logon to My Account" button.
- The current GALILEO password should appear in the form field on the page.
- The password may not be displayed if you have overdue items. Contact our Circulation department for information about your library record.
