Who Am I?

I am the subject specialist/liaison for Counseling/Psychological Services, Educational Psychology/Special Education, Educational Policy Studies, and Psychology at Georgia State University Library.

What Can I Do For You?

  • Meet with you to discuss relevant library resources for your research

  • Provide specialized library instruction for classes

  • Manage library research guides by discipline; by course as relevant/requested

  • Purchase books and DVDs in the disciplines I serve for the library collection

My academic background includes a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling in addition to the M.L.I.S. in Library & Information Studies. Before pursuing my librarian career, I was a university academic counselor for 8 years.    As part of my position as library liaison, I have faculty status and was recently promoted to Assistant Professor based on job performance, scholarship, and professional development & service.   My research interests include LIS curricula, liaison training, and librarian professional development, and distance learning programs in education.
