The facility provides in-house equipment for the above formats. Additionally laptop computers are available for use in the library. The Media Center is a unit of the Access Services Department.

All Media Center audiovisual materials are listed in GIL . GIL is the online catalog for GSU's The University Library collections. If you would like GIL training please contact us at 404-413-2800.
Faculty may request that audiovisual items be acquired by the library for the Media Center's collection. Requests are made in the same manner as for other Library materials by contacting the Liaison Librarian for a specific subject area.

There are 2 group media rooms in the media center opened to currently enrolled GSU students, faculty, or staff for the purpose of using the media equipment in the room. Equipment available in the group media rooms includes: a flat panel TV, VCR, DVD Player (Group Room #2 has a multi region DVD player) surround sound system, computer, projector, and two computer speakers.
Reservations
Reservations for the group media room may be made online.
Usage
The group media room may be used by a minimum of two people and a maximum of about ten people at a time. Present your active GSU Panthercard at the LS2 Circulation Desk and be signed in before using the group media rooms. Groups should limit use of media viewing rooms to three hours if others are waiting.
