University Library: Web Site Usability

Background

The library began conducting usability activities for its web site in 2003, when students and faculty participated in a focus group and subsequent studies regarding the library home page.

The new library home page was officially launched in the 2004 fall semester. The suggestions and comments from the participants in our studies were tremendously helpful and have been used in the current library home page and to some of the interior pages.
